About

The Fencing Club at Montana State University - Bozeman is a non-profit club dedicated to bringing the sport of fencing to both the university and the city of Bozeman and surrounding areas. As a club we believe that, even though Montana is a very rural state, everybody should get the opportunity to try fencing. We welcome all levels of ability, ranging from the complete beginner to the veteran who has been fencing for over 20 years.

No Fencing on Halloween

We have cancelled fencing on Halloween so you can all dress up as ghouls and terrorize your neighbors, perhaps gathering some candy in the process. We'll be back to normal schedule on Wednesday. Stay safe!

No Fencing Monday Due to Holiday

There will be no fencing on Monday due to the holiday. We'll be back to normal on Wednesday (or at least as normal as one can expect from us...). You can always find our schedule at http://bozeman-fencing.org/calendar.

Welcome (Back)!

A hearty "welcome" from those of us in the fencing club to those of you who are new to Bozeman this year, and a "welcome back" for all of you who are returning to Bozeman. Hopefully in your next semester you will find time to come fence with us.

We are operating a booth at MSU's Catapalooza on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week, so feel free to drop by and chat with us. We're located just outside of the SUB's north-west entrance. Look for people in bright-white knickers.

Summer Schedule Update

The snow is melting (now if only we could convince it to stop falling from the sky) and that means that summer will soon be here. Starting May 9th club will change its meeting schedule for the summer. We will meet from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays in Romney Gymnasium. After classes get out, if you're not too busy bombing down hills on mountain bikes or single-handedly fending off fur-bearing mammals, you should come by and fence!

New Schedule:
Mondays - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Wednesdays - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
